Born in La Plaine, Dominica, on November 27, 1947, she relocated to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, as a young adult, where she resided for most of her life. There, she raised her three children while working at various retail stores on Main Street and Havensight, including The Jolly Roger, Sparky’s, Bolero, and Gem Palace. Her most cherished role was being a mother to her children and a grandmother to her grandchildren, spending quality time with them.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff at The Gardens of Warwick Forest, the nursing home where Brinette spent her final years, days, and hours. The love and care she received were extraordinary.

She has left a legacy of being a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a loving friend. May her soul rest in peace as her spirit rises in glory. We rest knowing that she fought a good fight while she transitioned to meet her Eternal Father.

A Celebration of Life will be held in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, with further details to follow. It will be followed by committal rites in La Plaine, Dominica. Condolences may be expressed to the family.
