Elizabeth “Lizzy” Milby Walton, 93, of Shacklefords, VA was called home to heaven on February 23, 2025.
Elizabeth was a faithful member of Poroporone Baptist Church where she taught Bible school, as well as the pre-school Sunday school class and was a member of the Fellowship committee. Lizzy lived life to the fullest with love and laughter. She loved her family and treasured their precious time together.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Rosser and Ruth Moore; husbands, Thomas Roland Milby and Andrew Ira Walton; siblings, Vivian, Alex, Shirley, Helen, Jessie, Audrey, Russell, Marie, Elsie, Marion and Kitty; and a cherished friend, Edna Perry.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, LaVerne Calhoun (Roger), Tommy Milby (Terry) and Ernie Milby (Fran); a sister, Frances Cox (Herbert); sister-in-law, Ruby Jean Moore; grandchildren, Heather McCray, Samantha Prete (Joe), Dustin Calhoun (Beth), Tracy Crowder (Jay) and Travis Milby; great grandchildren, Aidrick, Annicka, Riley, Aubrey, Jake, Carter and “Baby Crowder”, who is expected in May.
