Dennis Alan Grannan, 67, of Williamsburg, Va. passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025. He was born to the late Charles A. and Doris E. Grannan on March 19, 1957.

Denny obtained his master’s degree in engineering from The University of Louisville Kentucky and went on to excel working as a corporate executive for General Electric Company in Kentucky, followed by Square D in Colorado. He then accepted a position with Lucas and moved to Williamsburg, Va., eventually retiring as a business consultant.

As a young man, Denny, achieved Eagle Scout. He enjoyed being a Scout Master and helping his children achieve Life Scout. He even had the pleasure and honor of orchestrating President Gerald Ford’s address at a Boy Scout event in Colorado Springs, Co.

Denny was a faithful member of Crosswalk Community Church (Kingsway). He was a man who loved Jesus and generously spent his time caring for others. He was community oriented and always generous with his time and love. He had a passion for the homeless, based on Matthew 25:31-40, and began Vibrant Life Ministries, which he operated for nine years. He also dedicated time to serving with federal prison ministries. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary “Cindy” L. Grannan; children, Ben Grannan (Whitney), Christopher Grannan (Rachel), and Nicholas Grannan (Rebecca) and their mother, Donna Grannan; five grandchildren; and siblings, Debbie Ratliff, Diane Plotz, Darla Manning, and Don E. Grannan.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Cross Walk Church- Kingsway, 5100 John Tyler Hwy, Williamsburg, VA 23185. Pastors Mark Morrow and Rafael A. Santiago Jr. will be officiating.
