Susanna Y. English, 82, passed away Jan 19th, 2025 after a long battle with cancer.
She was born and raised in Michigan and came to Williamsburg in 1967. She worked as a bookkeeper for WJCC public schools until she and her husband became farmers in Toano.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 40 years Edward K. English.
She is survived by daughters Jayne M Hinson of Richmond Va and Samantha R Fiske of Gloucester Point Va.
Siblings Roger Young, David Young (Lorrain), Robert Young (Nancy), George Young (Dawn), Kathleen Laflure (Charles). Grandchildren, Steven Hinson Jr (Nicollette), Richard Hinson. Great grandchildren Kaelynn Hinson and Persephone Hinson, and a host of nephews and nieces.
There will be a memorial service at Bucktrout Funeral Home in Williamsburg on February 2, 2025 at 2 p.m.
