Debra Ross, 65, of Carrollton, VA, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024.
She was born in Fort Dix, New Jersey, the daughter of Sam Discioscia and Elvia Discioscia. She was a native of Hampton Roads, VA and dedicated over 30 years of service to the banking industry as a teller, most recently Wells Fargo.
She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and follower of Jesus Christ. She enjoyed many hobbies and activities including traveling, crafting, cooking, shopping, exercising, decorating, holiday hosting, spending time with her treasured dog Zoe, as well as giving and donating to those in need.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Robert “Bob” Ross; sons, Eddie Shawn Wilson (Jenna) and Brandon Wilson (Krysti); grandchildren, Cana, Chase, Mia, and Brad; brothers, Dick Discioscia and Donald Discioscia (Karen); as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father (Sam), mother (Elvia), father-in-law (Jess Ross), mother-in-law (Faye Ross) and sister (Diane Shaffer).
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Weymouth Funeral Home, 12746 Nettles Dr, Newport News, VA, 23606. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Weymouth Funeral Home with entombment to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Peninsula Memorial Park, 12750 Warwick Blvd, Newport News, VA, 23606.
