Anita McPherson departed this earthly life on January 24, 2024. She was born in Sunbury, PA in 1934. Married to Jim McPherson, they had a happy 65 years together.
Anita was a devoted military wife for 25 years. Upon his military retirement, she was the bookkeeper for her husband’s business, Aqua Leisure Pools, for many years.
Anita was preceded in death by her husband Jim, her son Stephen and Grandson Christopher, her sister, Shirl Hartman and her parents.
She is survived by her children Toni and Eddie Berman, Scott and Cindy McPherson, Byron and Sabina McPherson, daughter in law, Michelle McPherson; 5 grandchildren, Miki Salzberg (Adam), Joshua McPherson (Ally Zwieg), Stephanie Tolmachevskiy (Pavel), Bennie Berman (Merva), Julia McPherson and her 5 great grandchildren, Zachary, Leah, Ezra, Jonas and Bailey.
We like would to thank her caregiver, Jahyra Perez who was her friend and meant the world to her. We would also like to thank Trinity Hospice for the excellent care she received in her final days.
There will be a Celebration of Life on February 3, 2024 at noon. Please contact the family for more information.
