Donald Lee Brown-Hysler, born on November 6, 1964 in Alabama, passed away on September 23, 2023 in Newport News, VA. He was 58 years old at the time of his passing.
Donald worked as a Maintenance Technician in Houston, Texas. Outside of work, Donald had a passion for rock music and playing the guitar. Additionally, he enjoyed spending time fishing in both fresh and saltwater, finding tranquility in nature.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, William (David) Brown-Hysler and Barbara White Brown, as well as his grandmothers Evelyn Armstrong and Thelma Minyard. He leaves behind his sister Daphney Brown Franklin, brother-in-law Sam Franklin, brother David Brown-Hysler, and nephews Sam Franklin IV and Nicholas W. Cole Franklin.
Donald will be remembered for his love for music, and his passion for fishing. He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
