Brigitte M. Peterson, 83 of Chesapeake, Virginia, passed away on September 20,2023.
Born May 27,1940 in Germany to parents, Alban and Frida Cramer, she grew up in East Germany and immigrated to West Germany where she would meet her husband, Charles Peterson. They married in Germany and returned to the states where they would go on to be married for 58 years. Together they had one son, David Peterson and one daughter, Nancy Adams both of Chesapeake, VA
She retired from Virginia Beach Public School System after many years of service as a Culinary Aide. Brigitte was a cat lover. She enjoyed traveling back to Germany to visit her family every few years.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Peterson, son, David Peterson and daughter, Nancy Adams. Survivors also include one grand daughter, Allison(Ian) Hodgkins of Suffolk, VA, and one great grandson and a host of family here and in Germany.
