Larkin Otis Hundley, Jr., 79, of Mattaponi, VA went to be with the Lord February 23, 2023.
Larkin was a faithful member of Christ Community Church and Beulah Church, and had been employed at W.W. Nash & Sons for 18 years followed by 28 years at Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. He was a talented painter and carpenter who enjoyed building model boats, airplanes and birdhouses. He relished any time spent vacationing in Aruba or the Shenandoah Valley, enjoyed going out to eat whenever possible, and treasured his 1968 GTS Dart.
Larkin was preceded in death by his parents, Larkin and Nannie Hundley; brothers, William and Richard Hundley; and sister, Annie Gay Cronin. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Brenda Hundley; sisters, Susie Loan, Elsie Thurston and Patricia Bishop; as well as his fur-baby, Cody.
The family will receive friends 2 to 4 pm, Sunday, February 26th at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th St., West Point, VA 23181. A funeral service will be held 2 pm, Monday, February 27th at Beulah Church, 1539 Lewis B Puller Mem Highway, Saluda, VA 23149, followed by interment at Old New Hope Memorial Church Cemetery, 15603 New Hope Rd., Shacklefords, VA.
