Marva Lynn Sills-Lynch, 55, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018. She was born Nov. 30, 1962, in Fayetteville, N.C.
Marva was a graduate of First Colonial High School, Virginia Beach. She was employed with the Veterans Affairs Medical Center as a supervisor for 30 years. She was a member of Faith World Ministries and also a VA Medical Center Union representative and advocate.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Bernard Lynch; two children, Lauryn Chanell Lynch and Donovon Wayne Lynch; parents, Betty and Thomas Sills; two sisters, Vita Walker (Donald) and Sherry Moody; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, March 25, at Beach Funeral & Cremation Services Inc., 4456 Bonney Road, Virginia Beach. A celebration of life will be held at noon, Monday, March 26, at New Jerusalem COGIC, 118 Bishop Thoroughgood Ave., Virginia Beach. Burial will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, March 26, in Princess Anne Memorial Park, 1110 N. Great Neck Road, Virginia Beach.
