Henry Kenneth Green, 54, passed Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018. He was born Nov. 30, 1963, to the late Mattie and Billie Green Sr. in Montgomery, Ala. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Greene; and sister, Florene Greene.
Henry was a graduate of Jefferson Davis High School and later received a B.S. degree in information technology from Hartford University in June 2000. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant commander in 2008 and later worked as a security manager for the U.S. Government.
He is survived by his son, Darius Green; three sisters, Ruth Greene, Mary Greene and Willie Mae Greene; three brothers, Billy Greene Jr., James Greene (Coletta) and Paul Greene (Gwendolyn); and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 7:30-9:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 9, at Beach Funeral & Cremation Services Inc., 4456 Bonney Road
Virginia Beach. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at the funeral home.
