Victoria Ongoco Mason, 56, passed away Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017. Born in Abucay, Bataan, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Emilio and Virginia Ongoco.
She was a member services representative with Navy Federal Credit Union. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Bataan Association of Virginia.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, John D. Mason Jr.; son, Jimmie L. Hannah III; five brothers, Crispin D. Ongoco, and his wife, Sally, of Virginia Beach, Va., Orlando D. Ongoco, and his wife, Susana, of the Philippines, Ronilo D. Ongoco, and his wife, Rose, Virginia Beach, Va., Emilio D. Ongoco Jr., and wife, Terry, of Chesapeake, Va., and Edgar D. Ongoco, and his wife, Cecille, of Virginia Beach, Va.; sister, Marie O. McCormick, and her husband, Michael, of Sacramento, Calif.; and four nieces and seven nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, and Friday, Sept. 1, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Princess Anne Chapel, and one hour prior to the service at the church. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Merlito Abiog. Interment will follow in Colonial Grove Memorial Park.
