Nazaria “Inay” Verdes, 90, of Virginia Beach, passed away peacefully on the evening of Monday, July 3, 2017, with her family by her side.
Born in Manila, Philippines, Nazaria had retired from the City of Virginia Beach, Building Maintenance. She was a servant of the Lord and a member of Eastside Church of Christ in Virginia Beach.
Nazaria was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Solomon Verdes.
Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Rebecca Gambito, Ruth Angoluan and Noemi Rodgers; son, David Verdes; and nine grandchildren, Sarah, Christine, Nephtali, Miriam, Joshua, Jana, Jordan, Joey and Destin.
The family will receive visitors at 5 p.m. Friday, July 7, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Princess Anne Chapel. A celebration of her life will take place at 6 p.m.
