Deborah Ann Smith, 59, of Virginia Beach, born April 6, 1957, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016. She was the sister of Kemberly Burton, Roland Callis Jr. and Jeffery Callis.
She had 10 beautiful children that she will live through, Mark, Tonya, Maurice, Nicholas, Jasmine, Johnny, Gabriel, Jason and the late Rosheek; 17 beautiful grandchildren, Justice, Destiny, Olivia, Victoria, Aisha, Selena, Alexandria, Ronnie Jr., Antonio, Aijalon, Xavier, Bradleigh, Alexis, Adriana, Alayna, Christopher ‘Brayden,’ and Bentley; two beautiful great-grandchildren, Shayleigh and Aleigha. She loved them all unconditionally. Throughout her lifetime here, there were three very special people each loved in ,heir own way, Mark Charles Smith Sr., the late Russel Partee and the late Michael Wiggins.
She spent most of her life as a stay-at-home mom. Then, later in life, she accomplished her goal of getting her cosmetology license. She worked for Great Clips for the last 13 years. She recently relocated to Texas to be with her sister, Kimberly, and began a new chapter in her life. Together, they enjoyed doing what she loved most, crocheting, DIY projects, sewing and gardening. The most important thing to our mother was family unity. As sad as we may be, we are blessed to send our mother home.
