Henry Lawrence Trower, Jr., known affectionately as “June,” died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014. He was 50.
His life began Jan. 30, 1963, the son of Joyce Ann Trower and Henry Trower, Sr., of Charles City. His father preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Iris Piggott Trower; mother, Joyce Trower; sister, Rhonda Williams (Donald); god-sister, Kourtney Smith; his girls, Tiana Broaddus and Sierra Brandon; granddaughter, Kierstyn Broaddus; and devoted nephews, De’Andre Williams, DeMarcus Williams and DeMyron Williams.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at Whiting’s Chapel. A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Charles City, with the Rev. George Magazine officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
