Furry Friends Feature: Last Chance to Register for 2024’s Biggest Charity Golf Tournament

Calling all golfers! Sign up for Greater Williamsburg’s most popular charity golf tournament, Make Par for Pets Golf Classic benefiting the homeless animals at The Heritage Humane Society. Now through midnight on Monday, Sept. 9, register for the last remaining tournament spots to get in on the fun while networking with the area’s top businesses and organizations, all for a good cause.

Get ready for some swing and swagger

Tee up on Sept. 13 at the annual Make Par for Pets Golf Classic, the area’s buzziest golf tournament. Sunny skies, 75-degree temperatures and another year of big-grin memories (like last year!) are forecasted. Golfers tee off on the championship golf courses of Kingsmill Resort. They’ll play where the PGA and LPGA pros competed on the stunning Pete Dye-designed River Course or the Arnold Palmer-designed Plantation Course.

Registration is open and the field is filling up. Claim a spot or a foursome. Registration for each player includes greens fee, cart, range use, hot breakfast sandwich, draft beer all day, and Italian-themed buffet lunch. Register online to play in the 2024 Make Par for Pets Golf Classic.

Among the new features at this year’s tournament, the mid-Atlantic’s favorite crooner brothers from Good Shot Judy will take the stage for a few tunes during lunch in Kingsmill’s famed James River Grand Ballroom.
