RICHMOND — After helping propel the No. 16/17 William & Mary football team to a victory against No. 6 Delaware, senior running back Bronson Yoder was selected as the Colonial Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week.
Yoder rushed for a team-high 114 yards on 20 carries with a touchdown, marking the third time this season he has rushed for more than 100 yards. His impressive effort marked the first time Delaware has allowed an opposing player to rush for more than 65 yards this season.
One of the nation’s top running backs, Yoder currently ranks eighth nationally in all-purpose yards per game (149.2) and 11th in rushing yards per game (106.0).
W&M owns a 5-1 record and is off to its best start since 2010. Following and open date this weekend, the Tribe will return to action when it plays at Towson on Oct. 22.
Tickets for W&M’s remaining two home games are available at TribeAthletics.com.
