JAMES CITY COUNTY — The cause of a barn fire on Jolly Pond Road in James City County (JCC) is under investigation.
On the afternoon of Monday, April 18, the JCC Fire Department and James City Bruton-Volunteer Fire Department units responded to a large barn that was on fire on Jolly Pond Road.
The JCC Fire Department stated in a Facebook post on Monday that crews worked to extinguish the barn as well as an associated brush fire.
Multiple units from New Kent Fire-Rescue as well as the York County Department of Fire and Life Safety also assisted.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
