Local film premieres next month at Fort Monroe

HAMPTON — “The Curse of Eve,” a local film about a woman’s supernatural experiences in the country, premieres next month at the Fort Monroe Theater.

According to the Sullied Bride Productions’ announcement, the film tells the story of Christie (Megan Rene), a newlywed who moves to the country for her husband, Grant’s (Mel Thomas) new job and learns her new home is haunted, but no one believes her.

The locally produced film features a local cast of actors and was shot in Hampton, Chesapeake and Norfolk.

The Curse of Eve film will premiere at the Fort Monroe Theater, 42 Tidball Road on March 3 at 2 p.m. For more information, visit the production’s Facebook page.
