Finally, a sign of warm weather is here.

That’s right: Sno-to-Go is welcoming back customers starting this weekend.

Sno-to-Go has been a part of the Williamsburg business landscape since 1997. The shaved-ice and ice cream shack closed for the winter season last October, but now they’re ready to welcome the summer heat.

“This is the first time in three years where it’s not snowing or raining on opening day,” said Donna VanDenburgh, Sno-to-Go’s owner, .

The menu has over 50 flavors to choose from, including a special “flavor of the month.” To see what’s on the menu, check out Sno-to-Go’s website here.

Among the many menu items available, VanDenburgh said the most popular are the stuffed snowballs and hot fudge brownie sundaes.

But what separates Sno-to-Go from other Williamsburg businesses is their commitment to make a positive impact on the community. VanDenburgh said all tips are donated to local charities, such as the Peninsula Pet Pantry, the Avalon Center, and Latisha’s House.

“Our customers are really wonderful people because it’s thanks to them that we’re able to do what we do,” VanDenburgh said.

For the entire month of March, Sno-to-Go, located at 2229 Richmond Road will be open on Fridays from 3-8 p.m. and Saturdays from 1-p.m.

In April, Sno-to-Go will be open everyday with weekday hours being from 3-9 p.m., Fridays from 3-10 p.m. and Saturdays from noon. to 10 p.m. The hours are subject to change depending on current COVID-19 circumstances and restrictions.
