Ben & Jerry’s is making this Tuesday extra sweet with its annual Free Cone Day.
Starting at noon, Williamsburg-area Ben & Jerry’s scoop shops — and other shops around the world — will offer a free ice cream cone to its patrons, according to the Ben & Jerry’s website.
Free Cone Day has been celebrated since 1979.
So, which flavor will you choose? Scoop shop flavors range from Chocolate Shake It, to Gimme S’more, to Strawberry Cheesecake, to traditional old Vanilla.
According to the Ben & Jerry’s scoop shop finder, there are two Ben & Jerry’s stores in the Greater Williamsburg area.
One scoop shop is at the Williamsburg Premium Outlets, located at 5699 18 Richmond Road. The second Ben & Jerry’s in the area is at the Yorktown Riverwalk Landing, located at 332 Water St., Building L.
Both shops open at noon Tuesday and close at 8 p.m.
Ben & Jerry’s also invites ice cream lovers to share photos of Free Cone Day using the hashtag #freeconeday on social media.
