Williamsburg Beer Festival on Nov. 7 to Benefit Howard Hanna Children’s Free Care Fund

JAMES CITY COUNTY — The Williamsburg Beer Festival, slated for Friday, Nov. 7 in the Howard Hanna Real Estate Services Parking Lot In New Town, aims to benefit the Howard Hanna Children’s Free Care Fund.

Described as an “epic parking lot party under the lights, where craft beer meets community impact,” the event is hosted by Howard Hanna Real Estate Services and brings together brewers, restaurants, and locals for “a night of unapologetic flavor and fierce opinions.”

Breweries compete for the People’s Choice Beer Award, voted on by the crowd, while local restaurants serve up lite bites, included in the ticket price, and go head-to-head for the People’s Choice Food Award. Music will be provided by a live DJ.

The event benefits the Howard Hanna Children’s Free Care Fund, which helps families access life-saving medical treatments regardless of their ability to pay. According to organizers, this year, the event is partnering with Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters to spotlight its Children’s Mental Health Initiative, a regional effort to expand access to pediatric mental health services.

The event is from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Nov. 7. Tickets are $40 for beer drinkers and $25 for non-drinkers online at WilliamsburgBeerFestival.com through 5 a.m. on Nov. 7, and then $45/$25 at the gate.
