Sentara has been named one of America’s best employers by Forbes.
Sentara, the third largest employer in Virginia, was ranked No. 177 out of 500 by Forbes.
Forbes chose the America’s Best Employers based on an independent survey from a sample of more than 30,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 1,000 people in their U.S. operations, according to a news release from Sentara.
The employees were anonymously consulted through several online panels, not conducted by their employers.
Sentara operates numerous health care facilities including ones in Williamsburg, Norfolk, Newport News, Hampton and Virginia Beach.
