Drivers on Interstate 64 should expect a series of nightly lane closures — and possibly some delays — through the week.

As a result of VDOT’s I-64 widening project certain ramps and lanes will experience closures from Feb. 3-9.

Traffic on I-264 east and west between the Ballentine Boulevard and Rosemont Road exits will be slowed for up to 15 minutes about once per hour between 5 a.m. and 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9- 10, for Dominion Energy power line work over the interstate. Temporary stoppages at the nearby on-ramps will also take place during this time.
