NORFOLK — Norfolk detectives are investigating the killing of a 25-year-old man found shot inside of a car on East Little Creek Road on Thursday night.
Police were called to investigate a single-car crash in the 700 block of East Little Creek Road just after 9:30 p.m. At the scene, they found Patrick M. Cochrane, of Suffolk, shot inside of the car. Detectives believe he was actually injured a block away in the 7900 block of Orchid Avenue, according to the Norfolk Police Department.
He died later at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
