Motorists driving through the Historic Triangle on Interstate 64 can expect lane closures and delays this week as crews from the Virginia Department of Transportation patch potholes.
Crews will be working in the following areas starting Monday:
- From the Busch Gardens exit (243) to the Jefferson Avenue exit (255) in Newport News on the eastbound lanes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday to Wednesday
- From the Water Country USA exit (242) to the Old Stage Road exit (227) on the westbound lanes from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday through Friday
Guardrails will also be repaired from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. between Monday and Wednesday at the Water Country USA exit. The left lane will be closed for those repairs.
