Kevin Onizuk, the Republican nominee for the Jamestown seat on the James City County Board of Supervisors, has reported an additional $2,565 received for his campaign outside of the normal reporting period due to the date it was received and the amount.
Onizuk received the $2,565 donation as an in-kind donation of campaign materials from the Republican Party of Virginia.
With the Nov. 5 election around the corner, candidates for the Board of Supervisors are required to report campaign contributions totaling $500 or more within 24 hours of receipt. This requirement goes into effect when the election is two weeks away.
In addition to the $24,110 Onizuk previously received for his campaign, this donation of $2,565 – received on Oct. 27 – puts his total raised at $26,675.
Based on regular reports through Sept. 30 on The Virginia Public Access Project’s website, this latest contribution is the first Onizuk has received from the Republican Party of Virginia.
Onizuk previously received a cash contribution of $5,125 from the Republican Party of James City County.
