Event Hosted to Honor Winners of Four York County Business Awards

YORKTOWN— Four businesses that York County says have helped it grow and thrive took center stage on March 12 at the 2026 Distinguished Business Affair.

During this annual event—held in the Freight Shed at Riverwalk Landing—three York County entities came together to honor businesses that elevate the County through investment, growth and community impact.

York County’s Economic Development Authority and Department of Economic & Tourism
Development joined forces to present three awards:

In addition, York County Chamber of Commerce also presented its Small Business of the Year Award to Worley’s Home Services.

“These businesses represent exactly the kind of thoughtful investment and momentum we want to celebrate in York County: projects that strengthen our community, support working families, create jobs and reinvest in our commercial corridors,” said Kristi Olsen-Hayes, director of York County’s Department of Economic & Tourism Development. “We’re proud to recognize their achievements and are grateful for the role they play in shaping York County’s future.”
