Tuesday November 27, 2018 Covenant Christian School based out of Williamsburg Virginia, is excited to participate in A Global Giving Movement called Giving Tuesday. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving after the well-known Black Friday and Cyber Monday events, Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season when many Virginians focus on holiday giving.
“On Tuesdays, at Covenant Christian School, our students learn to play the ukulele!” says Christine Schulker, Head of School. “Our Charlotte Mason-inspired philosophy of whole child education means that young people in grades K-12 not only participate in rigorous academics at the unhurried pace best suited to their developing intellects, but also experience performing arts, handicrafts, character development, gardening, nature study and more each school day. This year, Giving Tuesday falls on ukulele instruction day here at CCS.”
Covenant Christian School understands that selecting the right school for your child is an extremely important decision, CCS goes above and beyond to make sure their school stands out amongst the options. Living textbooks, short, developmentally appropriate lessons, nature study and notebooking, enrichment days, an extensive fine arts program and so much more. Schulker asks, “please consider making a Giving Tuesday donation to Covenant Christian School so that we can continue to offer both outstanding academics and unique extracurricular opportunities to students here in the Hampton Roads community.”
