On Sunday, January 21, 2018, CircleUp Middle Peninsula will sponsor a Public Forum for the candidates running for the First Congressional District Democratic Primary at the Mathews Boys and Girls Club, 498 Church Street, Mathews, Virginia 23109. The forum is scheduled from 3-5 PM, doors open at 2:30 p.m.
All five candidates will participate in a two-hour forum moderated by Rachel Bitecofer, Ph.D., WasonCenter for Public Policy at Christopher Newport University.
The five candidates include Tom Hicks, Edwin Santana, Ryan Sawyers, John Suddarth, and Vangie Williams.
The public may submit questions for the moderator’s consideration. Questions must be sent to circleupmidpen@gmail.comby January 17, 2018.
This event is in place of the monthly CircleUp Middle Peninsula meeting.
