YORK COUNTY — York County is inviting families to the Tabb and Yorktown libraries to celebrate “Take Your Child to the Library Day” on Saturday, Feb. 3.
A variety of special activities will be offered, with no registration required.
Tabb Library
- 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. — Family BINGO: Celebrate the end of “Winter Reading 2024” by dropping in between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. for an all-ages BINGO session at Tabb Library. Participants get one BINGO card each. Winners will select a prize from the library’s Winter Reading-themed selection. Light refreshments will be provided.
- 2 to 3 p.m. — Family Crafts: Families are invited to stop by Tabb Library and visit the different bird-themed stations. A DIY bird feeder and a Mo Willems personalized bird craft are part of the program.
Yorktown Library
- 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. — Family Crafts: Stop by and visit different bird-themed stations. A DIY bird feeder and a Mo Willems personalized bird craft are part of the program
- 2 to 3 p.m. – Jonathan Austin’s 24-Hour Emergency Juggling and Magic: Jonathan Austin, an award-winning juggler and magician, will present a show of fast-paced juggling, magic, comedy, and unicycling. A veteran performer with decades of experience, Jonathan Austin’s show will have something for everyone and every age.
