WILLIAMSBURG — California Tortilla’s Midtown Row location will be celebrating its grand opening on Wednesday, April 12.
The new location is the ninth for the fast-casual restaurant franchise in Virginia. According to a press release, the Williamsburg restaurant will be led by franchise owner Tejas Patel, who has been in the hospitality business for 30 years.
On Wednesday, the Williamsburg location will kick off the celebration by giving away free burritos for a year — one free burrito a week for 52 weeks — to the first 20 people in line. Guests can also enjoy $5 burritos or bowls all day, with proceeds going to the Williamsburg Community Foundation, and specials and giveaways are planned all week.
