(City of Williamsburg)

WILLIAMSBURG — The City of Williamsburg announced there will be a series of rolling road closures Friday morning as the Williamsburg Bray School building is moved from its current location at 524 Prince George St. to the corner of Nassau and Francis streets.

The move is slated to begin at 8:30 a.m. Friday, weather permitting, and cause rolling road closures along the route, which runs from Prince George Street to Boundary Street to Francis Street to Nassau Street, according to the city.

No parking signs will be posted on Prince George and Boundary streets Thursday evening, it added.

William & Mary and Colonial Williamsburg will host a ceremony in celebration of the Williamsburg Bray School preservation project at 2 p.m. Friday. Francis Street, between South Henry and South England streets, and Nassau Street, between Prince George and Court streets, will be closed starting at 1:30 p.m. through the end of the ceremony, the city said.
