WILLIAMSBURG — Revolution Golf Golf and Grille on High Street is looking to shake things up in the kitchen over the next few weeks.

The full-service sportsbar has hired local kitchen consultant John Tandy as well as Head Chef John Clemens from Newport News to revitalize its menu with new twists on classic bar fare.

Revolution’s General Manager Jacquelyn Liebler told WYDaily that she and her team were looking for ways to “think outside of the culinary box.”

“We have our staples that we are always going to have, but they have taken our dishes to the next level,” Liebler says of the new members of her team.

Since opening its doors in 2017, Revolution has set itself apart from other sports bars by offering high definition golf simulators, which allow patrons to virtually play dozens of world-famous golf courses without ever leaving Williamsburg.

Liebler says that the new menu, which will make its debut this spring, is an effort to give patrons more value for their money, especially as the cost of everyday purchases begin to rise.

“With the increase of proteins and food across the board, you just have to deliver perfection,” she said. “You have to get it right and people have to enjoy it.”
