
Tabb handed Grafton its third loss of the season Thursday afternoon, topping the Clippers 7-3 at home.
The Tigers started the game by posting four runs in the bottom of the third inning.
Leading the inning was Sydney Jacobsen, who smacked an RBI single into left field. On the next at-bat, Kendall Wooddell scored on a wild throw prior to Kristen Malloy driving in a run.
Later in the inning, Leah Overbay singled to right field and brought Jacobsen across home plate, giving Tabb a 4-0 lead.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, Tabb’s Emily Gavin belted a three-run home run that gave the Tigers a commanding 7-0 lead.
Grafton’s lone runs came in the top of the seventh inning as Kayley Cox delivered a two-run double before crossing home plate herself later in the inning.
Tabb (8-6) will host Lafayette on Friday, while Grafton (12-3) will visit York on Friday.
