Waller Mill Park is opening its 18-hole disc golf course this Sunday, and is offering free rounds to the public to celebrate.
Disc golf is a variation of traditional golf, with the player attempting to throw a Frisbee into a metal basket in as few attempts as possible.
Waller Mill Park’s 18-hole course spans 2.5 miles of scenic views within the park.
For those wanting to experience a free round of disc golf, not including a $2 park entrance fee and $1 per-Frisbee rental fees, check-in at the boathouse to pick up a scorecard and register to win a special Waller Mill disc golf package.
Beyond Sunday’s free trial, daily disc golf passes can be purchased for $2, while annual passes can be bought for $37 per person.
Waller Mill Park is open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m., with the final tee time at 7 p.m.
