
Warhill’s field hockey team cruised past Jamestown 4-0 at home Thursday thanks to a hat trick from Kayla Cooke.
While Cooke contributed the bulk of the scoring for Warhill, her teammate Hayley Schulz contributed a goal. Haley Smith added two assists in the winning effort.
The Lions (7-3) have won three of their last four games and will hope to keep that streak going during a home game against Bruton on Tuesday.
Jamestown (3-8-1) has lost three consecutive games and is looking to rebound with a road game against York on Tuesday.

Lakeland Scores Late Winner Against York
York surrendered a late goal against Lakeland to drop a 2-1 contest at home Thursday.
After a scoreless first half, Lakeland went up 1-0 less than two minutes into the second half.
The Falcons responded quickly as Jordyn Keller scored an unassisted goal to tie the game at 1-1 with 22:02 left to play.
Unfortunately for York, Lakeland scored the game-winning goal with 5:47 left in the game to steal the victory.
York (8-3) will continue its season with a home game against Tabb on Friday.

Hampton Roads Academy could not keep pace with Norfolk Academy during an 11-0 drubbing at home Thursday.
Norfolk Academy got goals from eight players, including a hat trick from Grace Marshall and two goals from Holley Cromwell.
HRA goalkeeper Haven Gardner made 20 saves in the loss.
The Navigators (1-5) will hope to rebound with a home game against Cape Henry on Tuesday.
