Steven E. Moore, 70, passed away peacefully at home on March 6, 2026. He was a native of York County.
Steve retired from Huntington Ingalls after 30 years as a mechanical designer. Steve was dedicated to his family and spent much of his free time supporting his sons and his grandchildren in their endeavors.
Preceding him in death were his parents, A. Ernest Moore and Lois P. Moore, and his sister Judy M. Snyder.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rita Moore; sons Wesley (Amy), and Justin (Lauren); grandchildren, Taylor, Kate, Jackson, and Ellie; his sister, Tina Moore; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Amory Funeral Home in Grafton from 6:00-6:45 pm, followed by a celebration of life until 7:30.
