Cynthia “Cindy” Lynn Smith, Summerfield, 63, of Newport News, Virginia passed away peacefully on March 07, 2026, after a 10-month battle with ovarian cancer.
Cindy graduated from Menchville High school in 1981 and always wanted to be a mother. She loved wheel of fortune, helping others, and spending time with her grandbaby, Nicole.
She is survived by her daughters, Amy and Lee Ann Summerfield; her granddaughter, Nicole Summerfield and sisters, Rhonda Luck (husband, Ray) and Robin Rhodes (husband, James) along with numerous extended family who will miss her dearly.
A Celebration of Life Service took place on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Warwick Assembly of God Church in Hampton
