Paul Dennis Price, a beloved son, father, brother, and uncle, passed away on February 24, 2026, in Newport News, Virginia, at the age of 60. Born on December 7, 1965, in Portsmouth, Virginia, Paul lived a life full of passion, creativity, and love.
Paul was a man of many interests and talents. A gifted musician, he found joy in playing the drums and using his talents to lead worship. His love for music was matched only by his enthusiasm for culinary arts. A true “foodie”, Paul delighted in cooking and sharing meals with family and friends, always eager to explore new flavors and dishes. Paul also enjoyed fishing and being able to spend quality time with his sons and close friends.
A devoted fan of the Washington Commanders, Paul enjoyed cheering on his team through victories and defeats alike. Above all, he cherished his family, finding immense pride and happiness in their company and achievements.
Paul pursued his passion for the arts by earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Art in photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design, a testament to his dedication and creative spirit.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Goodwin Price. Paul leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold him in their hearts: his sons, Wesley and Bradley Price; his father, Dennis Price; his sister, Hunter Turner, and her husband, Wilson “Chip” Turner; his nephews, Wilson Turner and his wife Rachel, and John Turner and his wife Katie; his niece, Sarah Turner; and four great-nieces and a great-nephew. He is also survived by his long-time partner, Jody Diehl.
A celebration of life to honor Paul’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, March 13th at Wave Church in Virginia Beach, where family and friends will gather to celebrate the memories and legacy of a remarkable man who touched the lives of many. The service will be held at the Seaboard location for Wave Church, 2655 Seaboard Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456.
Paul will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
