Charlie Hoell III, 70, of Toano, Virginia, passed away on February 13, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ann and Charlie Hoell Jr.
Charlie proudly served in the U.S. Navy before spending many years working as a car sales representative.
A Godly man, Charlie served as a chaplain, Sunday school teacher, and a mentor to many. Ever the handyman, Charlie was always building something. He also loved cooking, thrifting, and especially fishing!
Charlie is survived by his wife of 30 years, Gloria Hoell. Also left to cherish his memory are one son, two daughters, two grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers, a son-in-law, a mother-in-law, several brothers and sisters-in-law, numerous niece and nephews, and a special fur baby named Andy.
A service will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Nelsen Funeral Home, Williamsburg, Virginia, with a reception to follow. Pastor Wayne Groome is officiating the service.
