Virginia P. Radcliffe, 82, of Newport News

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Virginia Paulette Radcliffe, who left this world peacefully on February 2, 2026, in Newport News, VA, at the age of 82. Born on August 24, 1943, in Mason County, KY, Virginia lived a life full of love, warmth, and simple joys.

Virginia was a woman who found delight in the quiet moments and everyday beauty that life had to offer. Her garden was her sanctuary, a place where she nurtured not only plants but also her spirit, surrounded by the beauty she cultivated with her own hands. Her love for her dogs was unwavering; they were her loyal companions, bringing her endless joy and comfort.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Virginia cherished her family above all else. She leaves behind her beloved children, son Mike Radcliffe and his wife Angie, and daughter Cindy Miller and her husband Kevin, as well as five treasured grandchildren. She also leaves a host of dear family members and friends who were touched by her kindness and gentle spirit.

Virginia’s home was often filled with the soothing melodies of soap operas, a testament to her enjoyment of television and its ability to transport her to different worlds. She valued her quiet time and the simple pleasures of life, finding peace in moments often overlooked by others.

Preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Virginia carried their memories with her throughout her life, honoring them through her generous heart and loving nature.

Though her passing leaves a void in our lives, we take comfort in knowing that Virginia’s legacy of love and simplicity will continue to inspire us.

In accordance with her wishes, services will be private. May she rest in peace, forever remembered and cherished.
