Matthew Marvin Jordan, 40, of West Point VA, passed away Friday February 5, 2026. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan who loved fishing, playing golf and spending time with his family.
Matt was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marvin A. Gaylor Jr.; and his father, Brian Wayne Jordan.
He is survived by his loving mother, Cindy Neal (Jimmy); brother, Phillip Jordan (Katherine); grandmother, Gail Gaylor; aunt and uncle, Karen and Jack Byrd; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends 1:30 to 3 PM Thursday, February 12th at First Baptist Church of West Point, 414 Main Street, West Point VA, with a funeral service beginning at 3 PM. Burial will be private.
