Paulette Gaita, born September 11, 1956, in North Carolina, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026 in Williamsburg, Virginia, at the age of 69.
Paulette was a cake decorator. Beyond her professional life, she was known for her knowledge of cars. She had a passion for cooking, which brought joy to many with her creativity. She also loved dancing.
Above all, Paulette cherished her role as a devoted mother and grandmother. Her family was the centerpiece of her life, and she found joy in nurturing and supporting them.
She is survived by her loving spouse, Robert Boostrom; her beloved daughter, Rachel Gaita; her treasured grandson, Tysean Alston; her beloved son, Sammy Gaita III, and his children whom she kept close to her heart no matter how far apart. Paulette’s life was was also enriched by the companionship of her special friend Anthony Strother.
Paulette was preceded in death by her dear friend Kenny Owens. She held her memories of him close to her heart.
Her warm and generous nature will be deeply missed to all that knew her.
