Sylvia Johnson, beloved daughter of Martha Marie McGilvary Johnson and the late Leroy Johnson Jr., was born on June 13, 1958, in Williamsburg, Virginia. She transitioned from this life on December 29, 2025.
Sylvia cherished her family and friends and lived life with joy, laughter, and a vibrant spirit. She was kind, loving, and generous, always willing to lend a helping hand and give of herself to others.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, William “Bubba” Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories with her siblings, Leroy Johnson III, Sabrina Johnson, Dora Dandridge Johnson, Angela Epps Johnson, Blanche Johnson, Waleea Campbell Johnson, Warren Johnson, and Everette Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, goddaughters, godsons, and friends.
