David Lynn Daugherty, 67, of Toano, Virginia passed away December 13, 2025.
David was a dedicated employee of Republic Services in Grafton, Virginia for forty-three years. Prior to that, he served our nation and was enlisted in the Army for six years.
David spent most of his spare time fishing, watching the Redskins play, enjoying a drink with his buddies, and spending time with his dogs- which he loved dearly.
David was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Helen and Chris DeChristopher; and his brother, Michael Daugherty.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Colleen Daugherty; his children, Lisa Arrinton, Kelly Vance, Timothy Daugherty; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his sister, Sharon (Richard) Walls; his brother, Jack Dagherty; and his brother-in-law Michael (Sandy) Dimes.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
