Bridget Christian Robinson was born on December 9, 1951, in Richmond, Virginia. She peacefully departed this life on December 1, 2025

Bridget accepted Christ at an early age and joined Gilfield Baptist Church. She was raised in Charles City, Virginia, where she attended Charles City Public Schools before continuing her education at Adelphia School of Business. Bridget later began a long and dedicated career with Verizon Communications, where she faithfully served for 30 years. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she opened her heart and home to many as a foster parent over the years, providing love, stability, and care to children who needed it most.

Bridget lived a life full of energy, joy, and passion. She loved cooking and was always ready to prepare a good meal for family and friends. She enjoyed casino trips, mud bogging, fishing, and any adventure that brought excitement to her day. Above all else, Bridget cherished her family. They were her greatest pride and joy, and she would not have traded the world for them or the many loved ones she claimed as her own.
Bridget’s legacy of love, laughter, and generosity will forever live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Bridget was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Russell Christian; son, Jarrett Robinson; daughter, Ciarra Robinson; sisters, Pearl Wise and Carmen Christian; and brother, Otis Crawley.

She leaves to cherish her memory loving husband of 47 years, Welton E. Robinson; sons, Cosey Robinson and Welton Jones (Akina); daughters, Nicole Jones-Jones (Mario), Diamond Brown, and daughter-at-heart, Chanell Christian; her beloved grandchildren, Jordan Robinson, Janee’ Alston, Destiny Jones, Jaiden Jones, Ace Myers, and Jemani Bates; great grandson, Josiah Binford, and godson, Spencer Cotman. She is also survived by sisters, Betty Robinson (Charlie), Janet Cotman (Robert), Valerie “Cookie” Wallace (Charles) Daryl Smith , and Lola Fitzgerald; brothers, Calvin Crawley Sr. (Vickie), Irving Paige (Betty) Maurice Crawley (Laverne); brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl Robinson (Winnie), Margaret Walker, Patricia Hopson, Evelyn Robinson, and Ralph Hairston, and uncle, Jessie Christian; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and devoted friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
