Patricia “Pat” Florence Cossaboon (née Slick), 91, of Williamsburg

Patricia “Pat” Florence Cossaboon (née Slick), age 91, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Born on December 31, 1933, in Connecticut, Pat spent most of her childhood in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She lived a life marked by dedication to her family and community. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and Mom-Mom whose warmth and strength touched the lives of many.

For more than 35 years, Pat worked as a special education school bus driver for Gloucester Township Public Schools in New Jersey. Her long-standing commitment to this role reflected her deep compassion and patience. Through decades of service, she provided safe and caring transportation for countless students, leaving a lasting impact on them and their families. Pat also brightened the lives of her colleagues, forming strong, lasting friendships that she cherished throughout her life.

Pat and her beloved husband, Paul, made their home in Erial, New Jersey, where they raised their family and created a lifetime of memories. She delighted in taking family photos, traveling to new places, enjoying good food with loved ones, and spending time with the dogs her children and grandchildren adored. Pat also loved marching band music and was always ready to cheer on her beloved Philadelphia Eagles.

After Paul’s passing in 2020, Pat moved to Virginia to live with her son Dale and his wife Johnna, where she treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Philomena and Harry Slick; her beloved husband, Paul; and their daughter, Carol Stokes. She is survived by two sons: Dale (Johnna) of New Kent, Virginia, and David (Suzanne) of West Berlin, New Jersey; three granddaughters: Ashlee Meredith (Stewart III), Kaylee Bohannon (Corden), and Skylar Simmons (Dale); and three great-grandchildren: Byron Bohannon, Lily Bohannon, and Henry Meredith.

Her legacy will live on through the generations of her family who will continue to carry the love and values she instilled.
