Rachel Lucille Reynolds, 80, of Charles City, Virginia passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025.
Rachel never missed out on a trip, traveling to the mountains in Nelson, Virginia. The mountains were her sanctuary and offered peace to her. In her free time away from the mountains, she enjoyed vegetable gardening, especially her squash! Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, and sister, and her family meant the world to her.
Rachel was preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl Reynolds; her sister, Ann Marable; her brothers, James Wilkerson, Sonny Wilkerson, and Herbie Wilkerson.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Reynolds; her sister, Janet Hazelwood; her brother, Bobby Wilkerson (Pat); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held 11:30 AM Friday, September 5, 2025, at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140. The family will receive friends from 10 AM to 11:30 AM prior to services. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park, Sandston VA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice House of Williamsburg.
