Mary Ann Beamer, 89, of King and Queen, VA peacefully went to be with her Lord on August 16, 2025.
She retired from Virginia Power in 1996 after a 37-year career with the company. Mary loved cooking large meals, making all kinds of desserts, and working through crossword puzzles. She dearly loved her grandson, Hunter, and waited patiently during hunting season for him to show up and tell her all about his day.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Louisa Roane; her husband, Charles Beamer; sister, Temple Burton; and a niece, Rebecca Garnett. She is survived by her son, Todd Beamer (Stacey); grandson, Hunter Beamer (BreAnne); and numerous cousins.
The family would like to thank Riverside Hospice for the loving care they provided.
A memorial service will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, August 27 at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th St., West Point, VA 23181.
